Question for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Is there any possible way to get your raiment of valor back after losing it to a stupid cabinet? I know it resets after 72 hours but I must've only just missed it.

Once a unique item is lost in a reseting container, there is no way to get it back. You can probably go to the testing hall and find it there however, although that is technically cheating.
