If you are talking about the Up, Down, Left, Right cheat codes, then here's your answer:
When you get to the title screen (the picture of the BMW and the "Press Start"), then, using the D-Pad (plus button), just press the cheat in the correct order. The game will notify you if you have typed in the correct code. Once you are in the game, you cannot enter the code. At title screen only. I hope this helps.

Tbug2007, this is for PC not PS2.
For PC, at the title screen, just type it in. There is no separate cheat type console.

For PC at "Click to Start" screen (after the trailer) type the cheat.
