Does anyone play Halo combat evolved on a laptop
 
 I was able to get the devmode thing accepted by me laptop but it doesn't work
 
 It looks like this in the Target: "C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/ Halo/halo.exe" '-console-devmode'
 (/'s are supposed to be in the other direction)
 
 It is accepted by my laptop but during the game I press the button that has `~
 This button is just above the Tab button
 
 Everywhere I have looked it says press `~
 
 For some reason it doesn't work
 
 Does anyone know what to do?

Well the reason this doesnt work is because it only works for Halo CE(halo custom edition) which is like halo but it only has multiplayer and you can add maps. P.S. You can download Halo CE for free as long as you have halo

I know the problem, see you put C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/ Halo/halo.exe" '-console-devmode' , but your supposed to put C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/ Halo/halo.exe" -console -devmode. If you noticed the space between console and -devmode, and this thing ' was removed. You should be good from there.O ya, the ~ key is correct.
