Question for Halo: Combat Evolved

Why when I try to dwonload it it say error microsoft gaem maybe in use?

Press Ctrl-Shift-Esc and it will launch task manager.
Click on the "Processes" tab and then click "Mem Usage" two times, near the top will be a process titled "Halo" select it and click the "End Process" button at the bottom.

NOTE: ONLY do this if it says halo is already running and you can't see it or if halo has frozen.

I would recommend restarting your computer and attempting to start/download the game again. If this doesn't work, you may need to re-install or uninstall your copy of Halo:CE. If by "download 'it'" you mean a patch, you need to close your game before downloading and installing the patch.
