I got halo ce and updated it. When I try to create a game it says invalid cd key Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

actually that happened with me as well. i try to join any online internet multiplayer game, and just as it is about to load the map, it says invalid cd key. i'd appreciate it if someone tried to figure this one out.

This happens because you download the game... aka stole... aka copyright infringement... aka pirated... aka got it for free... the cd key says invalid because someone alredy has the particular key you are trying to use registered. I too have downloaded the game and ran into the same problem. I am currently trying to find a good key generator for halo. This too I suggest for you... type in "halo: combat evolved cd key generator" into a search engine and dig until you find one... if there is one...

the guys right its stealing and i got mine for $10 in JB-HI-FI so try there instead of stealing...

However, how does anyone know the person asking the question has a bought cd key and just misplaced the cd to reinstall? I have obtained a copy of the game through other means and I have the cd key I bought and it still tells me cd key is invalid. Anyone have an answer?
