You have to avoid the suspected flak areas, which are shown in red on your map. If you don't, you will gradually take damage while in the suspected flak area until you die. Also, go to your targets in a direct line while avoiding flak areas. DO NOT BOMB THE FLAK GUNS UNLESS you are trying to unlock 'Mad Bomber.'
