How do you wave?

In AC:WW, how do you wave at people?

Very rarley in your town this guy comes but I forgot his name and anyway he comes to your town and you go and talk to him and he gives you an emotion. Emotions are totally random but you canwave at people. Note: Every day when you play go to the main gate and go in. Then go to the guy on the left. His name is Booker. Ask "Whats New". He will tell you if anyone has come in your town or not. If he says he's terribly sorry he haddn't relized that means that no one is in your town.

IMPORTANT: If you do find the guy that gives you the emotions to use them you press SELECT and above the message thing there is a little bubble that you click on.

I am 98% (percent) sure that this is how you wave.

Click on the person you want to wave to and they bow or wave back

You just tap the person when your a couple steps away and evantualy they should wave at you. VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!: this is also the secret of getting neighbors pictures!
If you wave at them and they wave back with a high chime that means the relationship is good and they could give you there picture any minute!
If they bow with a low chime or wave with a low chime that means your relationship with them is ok.If they do this theres a lesser chance they'll give you there picture. If you wave at them and they give a mean glance then it's clear your relation ship with them is bad wich means theres no chance youll get there picture unless you improve your relationship.

you tap on the person u want to when ur a far enough away tht you won't talk to them but they can see you and they will wave back

It;s easy, you just need to tap on them with you stylus. like one of the answers say it does effect your relationship...
but i beleive theres one more...why you wave at them, you will hear a small gust of wind and them looking away from you, they have a crush on you.
This happened to me two times, with Cube the penguin and Goldie the dog...it's just that i think theres a certain clitch with goldie cuz were both girls o.O

U have to be quite far away from them and tap them with the stylus and you wave, if they wave back talk to them and you might get a picture.

Dr shrunk teaches emotions, duh, is waving an emotion no you necompoop. If you want to wave stay a fair distance away from the animal which you wish to wave to, then tap them with your stylus, or , on the wii with the remote controller. Easy, right?
Also if you want to be a couple with an animal waving is a great way of getting close to them. Waving also helps you get the pictures: Wave, run to them, talk to them = picture =yay = karma = peace

You tap on the person from a distance. Make you arent to close though!

Okay what you have to do is walk somewhere where you can see a villager in the distance but don't go close enough to talk to them. Then, when you've done that, you just press on the villager in the distance and your character should wave to them. I have done this with some of my villagers, and I have found that some of then have different ways of interacting. For example, I tried this with Gwen, Marina, Chow, Joey, Patty, and Pecan. Gwen, Chow, Patty and Pecan all wave back. However, Joey and Marina just kinof their head at you. I think it boosts your friendship with your villagers or something but I'm not sure.
