There are multiple ways to get bells. If you and a friend both need bells, uses the * hints.

1. Sell useless items( you can always rebuy them in the catalog).

If there is a animal who is a good friend but is moving send them a letter saying "dont go" and attach a piece of furniture,clotes etc and they will not move.

2.Get 12,000 bells(coins)
3.Go to able sister's store(store next to Tom Nook's)
4.You will see a gold mask
5.Buy it and tata the king tut wig

Another Cheat for money
When you buy the king tut wig and you put it on you will not see a thing.I mean your character cannot see a thing.On saturday talk to Lyle and he will want some of your money.Fine give it to him.Then put on the king tut wig and you will fall down random times.Like that every time you fall you get 100 bells.

Hi I am new here so let me introduce myself. I am killer201. This is how you get the golden shovel. You bury a normal shovel then in two days dig it up and should be a golden shovel.

Here it is into steps

1)fill up your pockets with your towns fruit

2)go to your friends town

3)sell all of your fruit in thier shop

4)fill up your pockets with thier towns fruit

5)go back to your town and sell the fruit in your shop

You should now have 15.000 bells
You can keep on repeating this and soon you will have a lot of bells :)

If anyone uses an Action Replay, this is for you guys/girls. If you use a faster run cheat and run over a pitfall seed spot, then your character will run over it then act like he falling and then about five spaces ahead he/she will fall through the ground where the pitfall seed isn't planted. You get out normally but when you try to dig where the pitfall seed was, it won't let you. Just save and turn of to get the space back to normal. The pitfall seed will be there.

You can try this if you want, or just ignore it. Later!

When you hit the rocks, you might get three bags of bells, right... Well if you dig a line of three holes nex to the rock, but leave a single space between the holes and the rock.

So dig the holes in a row of three... Like this ... ,below the middle hole, should be three gaps, then the rock below the middle gap and two gaps either side of the rock. So you have a row of three holes behind you when you hit the rock.

Position yourself below the middle hole right in front of the rock and button mash to dig... Don't press in any direction, because it will make you dig slower.

Seven bags of bells will come from the rock.

The first has 100 bells
2nd has 200 bells
3rd has 400 bells
4th has 800 bells
5th has 1000 bells
6th has 2000 bells
7th has 4000 bells

All in all that is 8,500 bells... Every single day! But check all the rocks.. It's random!

So, you guys have all heard about the time traveling stuff, all the 'get rich quick cheats'? Well...This is a list of glitches that can happen in you time travel. DON'T DO IT!

1. Sow Joan stops selling red turnips
2. Tom Nook stops taking catalog orders
3. Gracie stops giving you designer shirts no matter how much you pay
4. You cannot receive villager letters
5. Tom Nook only pays 96 bells for white turnips
6. The Lost Kitten events cease to happen

So...please, consider the consequences...along with weeds, and all that. DON'T time travel.

If you get up early enough and have a slingshot this hint will help you get the Golden Slingshot. I've noticed that almost every ten minutes a balloon will pass in the sky. Now it won't be on the dot it's always four past. 10:04 AM, 7:04 AM, 12:44 pm, 3:24 PM, etc. This stops after 4 PM, so you won't see a balloon at 4:04 PM.

There are three ways of noticing the balloon: 1) Noticing at the last moment that something is floating at the top of your screen and trying to rush to get to it. (That's me) 2) Being by the gate at each of the 4's every ten minutes. 3) Have the sound on and you'll hear a whooshing of air as it blows the balloon across the screen (which I normally don't do)

So check the four's and I hope this helps.

Okay...people you might want to know if the ghost appears randomly in my town...he will not...the ghost only appears in the Gamecube version of this...sorry folks.

Okay, your neighbors are easily agitated. Some more than others. If you want to keep them happy, DON'T:

1) Push them: It takes a lot of pushing to do it. So just a little bit won't make them mad. But eventually, they will get mad. 2) Hitting them with a net/axe: It takes a lot of hitting to actually hurt them but they get mad when you do. Just one whack doesn't do anything.

3) Chatting with them: Sometimes, but rarely, when you talk to them they recall bad memories or you make them mad. If it's bad enough they stay mad for a few minutes.

Now, sometimes you can do really funny stuff that doesn't make them mad. Like:

1) Burying pitfall seeds: If you bury a pitfall seed and lightly urge the animal or push them, they walk into it and it's fun to see them squirming in the hole. But the get out eventually.

2) Digging holes: If you see your neighbor, you can dig holes to trap them. Rapidly, you can dig holes and trap them in a small area. If you go into a building, the holes disappear, though.

3) Redecorate their house: This one is questionable. If you really want to do it, send your neighbors really stupid stuff or weird stuff or unmatching stuff. Eventually they put it in their house. One of the male charaters in my game has a pink couch in his room. XD

Ever get chased by bees with no houses around? I've got a simple solution. When you are getting chased by bees, run in a straight line. Once the bees are close, turn in a circle, and run in the direction you just came. (Try not to do the sliding stop) The bees will go flying straight still, and you get a bit of a lead. You can keep doing this until you get to a house. *Note*: This only works if done a certain way. It MUST be done correctly, or else you will get stung.

Turn on your game and go to the phone. Set the time to January 1. You will recieve mail from mom. There will be a present, it will be 10,000 bells.

The easiest way (that I have found anyways) to get all the foreign fruit is to wait until you have eight neighbors. Once you do, write eight letters; one to each neighbor. But you don't have to write a whole long note. All you have to do is put down fruit and then attach whatever fruit your town has. You should get all of the foreign fruits (and maybe even some shirts). Plant all of the fruit and repeat the process (sometimes the fruit trees will die). And besides, you might not have 'em all. ^__^ Good Luck! ^__^

Ok this is slow but easy. First get insurance from lyle(ill explain that later). Now go and shake every tree you can find. This works because sometimes money will come out,if it's a fruit tree you can sell the fruit, and because bees will come out. Now your probally thinking bees always sting me well thats good because yur insurance from lyle gives you money or if your lucky you can catch the bees and sell them.

On Animal crossing you need lots of money to help improve your town complete quests and pay the bills! Here a few simple but effective ways to make money easily and fast:

1.Collect the fruit in your town and sell it on your friends ds when you go over there ,then take some of there fruit back to yor shop. You get a lot more per fruit.

2. Fast forawrd to new years day when your mum will send you 10,000 bells.

3. Collect fruit in you town and sell it at your shop.

4. Sell al un-wanted clutter from your draws. (raises a lot if you have stuff you don't want or like)

5. Remember that you don't need to buy everything and anything that is for sale.

6. Use your savings account to make sure you wont ever run out completely.

7.Complete quests/chores for town folk, they may reward you with bells or items you can sell.

Hope this helped. They all work for me but please notice if you change the clock town folk may move, cockroaches may move in and weeds may grow.
