Question for Super Mario 64

Hi. In Shifting Sandland, how do I get Star #4: Stand tall on the 4 pillars? I have 109 stars so far, and I have absolutely no idea on how to get this one. I already have stars #5 and #6 but thats because I skipped ahead of the fourth and I DID know how to get #5 and #6. How do I get star #4 for that level?

To get Stand Tall on the 4 Pillars in Shifting Sand Land:

First, you need to run up and stand on top of every one of the stone pillars surrounding the pyramid. You'll need the Wing Cap to get to the ones in the quicksand. You can easily run up the two on normal sand. Make sure you stand still for a moment on each one. When you are successful, the top of the pyramid should disappear. Use the Wing Cap (or however else you want to) to go in the hole. You will appear on an elevator. Wait for it to stop, then turn and face the giant stone block. Jump in the hole, then walk down the passageway. When you enter the room, try to jump on top of the blocks on the far wall. You will face the boss Eyerok. Defeat him by attacking the eyes on the hands. Once you defeat him, the star will appear.

Shifting Sand Land - Star #4: Stand Tall On The Four Pillars
This one's not too hard - from where you start, do the usual - head to the right over to where the Bob-Ombs and Cactus are. I suggest getting the Red Wing Cap for this Star, so do a Triple Jump to get on top of that gray stone structure and hit the Red ! Box. Now do another Triple Jump to start flying, make your way to each Pillar and when you're above one (you see you're shadow on it), just hit Z to do a Ground Pound. Once you've stood on all 4 Pillars, the top of the Pyramid will come off, so fly over there and head inside the hole at the top. You'll land in a cage, stay in it until it stops and then go through the next hole. When you get to the bricks, jump on them and they will form a pair of angry, talking hands. Time to fight - all you have to do is hit each hand 3 times in the eye...er palm...make sure you don't fall off and when you beat them you'll get the Star!

First you have to get the wing cap that is near the beginning (a triple jump is recommended to get on the platform) and begin flying. At first, I thought you only were supposed to get the coins, but nothing happened. You have to physically land on the pillars and then the top of the pyramid will explode revealing a hole that you fly into, you will be on a moving platform, do not get off until you reach a place in the center that you could not reach before. Follow the path until you find some mysterious blocks that you should jump on. The blocks turn out to be some weird floating hands with some.. Um... Eyes in the middle (I don't get it either) you need to hit those *cough cough* "eyes" until the star appears. Hope this Helps

P.S. You only need 11 more stars before the cannon in the garden unlocks itself Smile
