I have 119 stars and I have every star from the courses. I know that the last star is a secret one but I can't find it. I have searched every room in the castle. Can someone give me a list of secret stars (that are not completely obvious) and what room of the castle they are in (unless it is hard to find in that room in which case, it would be great if you told me how to get it).

Well, one of the secret stars is in a stain glass window with peach in it. Jump through it to get to it. Also, if there is any log like things that you can pile drive, try hitting those. Hope you find it.

The above list is absolutely correct. However, I'd like to mention, that the most often missed star in this situation is the first MIPS star. If you don't catch him before having 50 stars, you can never get the 120th star, only 119.
I think I know where the last star is, at the end of the slide at Cool, Cool Mountain there is an arrow pointing up. At the top there is a box where the last star may lie, but I don't know because I can't get up there.
No star there. There is a secret tunnel in the race where you can exit up there. Just an extra life.
I am playing 3d all stars and have 59 stars, does that mean I can't get the first mips star?
