- Thi[Subsistence] is a set of side ops in which you need to extract a specific 'highly skilled' soldier. This doesn't always mean the soldier really is skilled, but they will usually have a certain mask or different type of clothing to mark them from the rest. If you mark said 'highly skilled' soldier with your binoculars they'll always be marked as your target. The basic pattern is to infiltrate a village or outpost, interrogate one or several soldiers to learn where the 'highly skilled' soldier is located, mark them on your map and sneak towards 'em.

- Us[Subsistence] tranquilizing weapons. Should your opponent(s) wear protective headgear, aim for unprotected arms and legs and hit them repeatedly with darts to down them.

- Your only goal i[Subsistence] to extract your target. Once you've accomplished this, it doesn't really matter all too much if you trigger the alarm, get killed, and so on.

- Tip: If you're developed (or able to develop) the Stealth Camo Prototype, be sure to put it to good use in Side Ops. There are no mission rankings, so there are no negative effects for its usage.
