Finally figured out getting married and having babies!!! This wi

Ok guys I have finally figured all of this out! I have all my sims married and 2 babies that have grown into toddlers. If you do everything I tell you then you should not have any problems.
First off you do not need to have your sims living separate to get married it's perfectly fine if they already live together.
Second make sure your sims have the highest relationship possible(I think it's partner) and I know it completely sucks but you have to wait until you receive the task to make your sims get married. Until you receive the task you WILL NOT have the option to get married. So it's very important to complete your task because then the sooner the marriage task will come. Don't get discouraged it will eventually come(I believe I was on level 16 or 17 before it finally came).
You DO NOT have to pay for your first wedding ring. Once you get the task a screen will pop up and it will say something about giving you 20 life points to buy the ring.
I had read that it's best to buy the expensive ring otherwise your sim will get turned down, so I went ahead and bought the 20 lp one. But on all my other sims I bought the 10 and even the 5 one time and they all expected. I'm not saying it works for everyone but it was fine for me.

Now for having babies.....again you HAVE to wait until the task comes up....I know it sucks but that's what you have to do.
I do not remember if they gave me life points to buy the crib. So make sure you have enough for that.

I put all my babies in the middle of the room. I read alot about people saying their sims would not take care of their children. I never had this problem a I have to wonder if it's because I mad sure the cribs were easy to get too. Because if it's against the wall the sim might not be able to get there.

I do not remember if you have to wait for the task to have your babies grow into toddlers, I believe you do but I'm not sure. But it cost 10 life point to have the, grow up but the first time they give you the points. What you have to do is go to the stove and bake a birthday cake(which is what cost 10 life points) and then you have to wait 24 hours for you cake to bake then you can have the birthday
They have not came out with a update to make your toddlers grow up yet...and just a little hint...
Your toddlers take forever to do anything. It takes 45 mins for a bath and 1 hour for food, 20 minutes to be talked to and 30 seconds for the toilet. So it's a good idea to leave them as babies for a while because their task are completed fast and it's much easier to take care of them.

You can actually get married with any ring. I suggest either the mood ring or any LP rings. You have to feed your sims cupcakes and then propose. Then you have to do romance and woohoo to finish getting engaged. For kids you have to be married live in the same house and have a crib. Then you click have baby. I am on level 8 and this worked.

If it is a grown child then you should buy another one that is 4lps and it should work thats how I had a baby first I got married and bought a crib and have a baby and you don't woo hoo to have a baby it's just thier for no reason!

Your sims can't get pregnant. They can only whoo hoo! but you can have babies, you just got to get enough LP to buy a crib and then have more LP to have a baby. But good luck!

Help! My Sims are married, and I'm on level 8. I bought a cradle for it and stuff, but when I was on level 7, it says next sim unlocked at level 8. I worked my butt off with my husband, trying to work to get enough XP points to make it. But even now that I'm on level 8, it says next sum unlocked at level 10, and even though I click the add a sim button, it tells me to wait. This is so not fair.

My Sims got married very early in the game. I just kept making them be romantic to build up their relationship status and then asked to marry and I bought the cheapest ring and she said yes. I didnt have to wait for anything. I also got a baby early on by buying the crib. You have to buy a nice bathtub to cean the toddler. It wont be able to use a shower. I didnt have to wait for any "goals" to do any of these things.

I'm at level 19 and have the same problem. I have the marriage option, but when I choose it, the game says that I must wait for the engagement task. Yet at the same time, my current task is to grow a baby into a toddler. I just got back to the game after not playing for a couple of months. Could I have "missed" tasks during my absence? Or is this really just a glitch?

I did not like the fact that it took so long for the baby to come then made a goal that forces you to grow your baby into a toddler.:( I feel bad for anyone who's stuck with goals they can't do. I'm at level 32 now with 250 lp and 2million $. so i skip lots of goals If they are too hard good luck to everyone and hopefully they will make a teen update soon

I've a ill bit problems . They are TWO married couples in the same roof . So, the case is, I can't even add a baby since there's two married couples . So, how can I remove a married couple so that Im able to click on " add a baby" ? I already tried so many times and it wasn't work . They keep saying " can't remove a married couple " ..... Please help me. Do u have any ideas how to solve this problems ? So that there'll be only one married couple stay in that house.

Ok I did not have this problem but maybe try buying a baby crib and then see if it lets you have a baby. Otherwise can you just skip the task for 5 life point?
