You probably just buy new houses and they have no furniture in it. I no when I did my sims got in rlly bad moods. I'm pretty sure level 6 or up you can make sims move in (but you need to make them partners 1st). Make them move into the house you first started in. Go into the sims home store and press an object that you want in the sims house with nothing in it. Press the inventory button and that object will go into you're inventory. Now get all the things you would put in that sims home by putting them in the inventory.go into the sims house with technically nothing in it and go into the sims home store. Press inventory and bring out all the stuff you wanted in her/his house. hope I helped!
