Delete the sims app on the multitasking screen (double click home button and hold down the app and select the minus) Once you change from going having the date automatic to the December 31st, go into the app and the first thing it should do is give you 10 life points. It also finished the sims action (for whomever you're on at the time). I'm like you, reading the cheats and trying them. I have notice that the party boat changes the hours when you go back to automatic. I'm playing around with mine to see if these another cheat for that. Ill let you know what I find. Maybe going back to January 2013 will help. ?? Keep playing with the dates. Just remember to delete the sims app from the multi tasking section or it won't work

I love this cheat!!! Thank you sooo much it's really usefull, the weird thing is when I tried this the first time it didn't work and then I realised what I was doing wrong (I hadn't deleted it from the double click menu) and when I did it again ALL of my sims finished their actions, I had competitions finished and preteens back from school. Weird huh?
