For all you people who said they don't understand the instructions, the steps explained here are for iOS devices (ipad, iphone, ipod touch, etc.) that's why you can't find the wiggly icon with the minus plus sign down in the active task bar. Also, the Set Automatically refers to your iOS device's Settings -> General -> Clock, meaning that is you have to fiddle with your device's internal clock.

You can make more money!! If you plant things in your garden before you do the cheat! If you plant something that takes days, then do the cheat when you come back it will be done, no need to wait! Here's an edited more detailed version.

1. From your home screen, go to 'Settings'.
2. From settings, go to 'General'.
3. *Make sure where it says 'Set Automatically' is turned on.
4. Turn 'Set Automatically' off.
5. Go to 'Set Date & Time', click on the date, and change ONLY the year to '2000'.
6. Hit the home button.
7. Quickly double-tap your home button until four apps pop up on the bottom of your screen, one of which should be 'Sims Freeplay'
8. Press and hold 'Sims Freeplay until it starts to shake and a red minus sign appears in the top left corner, and hit the red minus. (Will NOT delete app from your device.)
9. Go into "Sims Freeplay", and have your sims each perform an action. Examples: Take a shower, Have a snack, Dance, Wash hands in sink.
10. Hit the home button.
11. Go back into 'Settings', change the date back to your year (2013), turn 'Set Automatically' back to 'on'.
12. Go back into 'Sims Freeplay', and watch your money grow. [/size] [/b]

I would save your game to iCloud before you do this. After doing it several times, the party boat said my next reward was at 8400 hours. The only fix is to restart your game. I luckily had saved it to iCloud and only lost a couple of days.

This cheat works great on my iPad only problem is after using it several times I can't get my sims to wake up from the deep sleep without canceling the action and losing my xp...it says their sleep is complete even tho they didn't sleep for 7 hours cause after using the cheat the action they were doing is instantly completed.
