Easy way to get money when bored

If you have already bought the mansion with the car have your sim take a drive. Go to town map and find your sims car. Follow it, occasionally you will hear the car honk and a music bubble will pop up. Click on it to receive a random amount of money and sometimes an lp. I usually get 7s but I have gotten 35s and an lp.
