Question for The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Hi. Although I'm level 12 I still got tasks open from level 10 and 11. Im not even close to getting to the tasks of level 12 therefore I also can't build the houses I am supposed to. Am I doing something wrong? What do I have to do to be able to do the tasks?

Youre just accumulating XP faster than youre goingthrough the missions. It isnt a bad thing, I'm on level 22 and I'm still doing level 15 missions
If you want to catch up, use your Donuts to speed up missions and Buildings, you don't need them for anything other than specialty Items and Characters
