Question for The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Is anyone else having problems with sound on this game? There is no audio on my iphone or ipad. It just happened randomly, checked audio on app settings everything is fine there, phone volume is not on mute. Not sure how to fix.

I'm having sound issues on kindle fire version. Sounds cut out randomly. Exiting and reopening the app is the best solution I've found.

Yeah i downloaded the app but there is no sound unlike my friends who are using android, ihone gives no sound

I had the same problem but I went into the build button and in the right corner there's an I for information/options. That is where the music volume and SFX volume is. Mine was at a decent volume and it still wasn't working so I pulled it all the way down then back up and completely restarted the game. That seemed to do the trick. Hope this works for you!

It happens to me everytime Ia text or any type notification. After the notification sound on Go is gone. Have to restart game to get sound back.
Guest answered:

Same problem. No sound. Tried adjusting the music and Sfx sound levels. Restarting the iPad, shutting down the app, nothing works. Settings for sound and push notifications make no difference. Wish there was a definitive answer for this instead of the continual "I have no sound" problems being reported.

I think it’s because the device is on silent. Try turning your ringer on
Guest answered:

I have had this problem, and just reset my iPad by holding the home button and the lock button until the iPad switched itself off, restarted and the sound returned to the game.

Guest answered:

[b] My problem was that my side switch, which only works with certain things, was set to mute. It didn't mute most things, so I didn't even know it was on. The option in settings: general: set side switch to: then you can either change it to lock rotate, or mute, which doesn't seem to even mute most of volume Items on the iPad, therefore being rendered useless.

I tried to play the game hungry shark but immediately said it had stoppedwhat do I do
Guest answered:

-Have you tried it with headphones? Sometimes the sound on my iPad doesn't come through the speaker but it does come through the headphones

-flip the mute switch. You probably have it set to mute

It was the iPhone ringer mute switch on the side turned off, and yes, it'll still play through the headphones.
Guest answered:

If you go I to the Building page, click the 'I' in the corner, it will give you options for Give Volune and SFX Volume. I've just tried the one above and turned the volume back up. I think it may have glitches in a previous Update and reset volume levels in app.

Power down device and restart worked for me
Guest answered:

Tried reinstall. Changed volume all the way down...back up, etc. What finally worked on iPad was to change the side switch from "lock rotation" to "mute." Set it to mute and then unset it. I have been playing the game for months without sound. Should have tried to fix it sooner.

It happens to me right after I receive a notification or text. Have to reset game to get sound back. I think it's a Bug.
