After a battle always remember reload as you don't want to be caught with an empty firearm in a surprise attack.
Double-tap on Vandal to turnaround 180-degree. This is useful for quickly turning around to check your back for Necromorphs trying to flank you.

Although you can riddle them with bullets to get a clean kill on a Necromorph you must dismember it by severing it's limbs.

A good way of increasing your power and defense ratinigs is to purchase a new suit. You can boost your HP by fusing your RIG with power nodes at a bench.
This feature is tied to the level of difficulty. For example, if you beat the game on Normal difficulty setting and select New Game+, you will continue on Normal difficulty.
