Cards and Decks

Cards

There are two types of main card available to you. These are Monster Cards and Spell Cards. You can earn them by taking part in duels and from treasure nodes, as well as by purchasing them in the Store with Duel Points, Card Pieces and Coins. You are also now able to craft existing cards.

You can see the attacking power of a Monster by the sword icon on the card. A Monster with higher attack points will defeat one with lower attack points.

Decks

The game provides you with a preset selection of Decks that you can choose from if you wish to make your life easier.

The Deck Builder, which is required to build and edit Decks, is only available once you have completed Chapter Node 3. With this done, you will be able to access the Deck Builder by clocking the icon at the bottom of the screen, by the Shop.

Once in the Deck Builder, the top set of cards are those that are not currently in use, while those at the bottom are ones that are currently in rotation in your Deck.

You can filter cards to make it easier to navigate those that you have available. For example, try including only Monsters with a certain, higher power, to weed out all the weaklings that you may have from earlier in the game.

To add a card to your Deck, simply click on it. You also remove cards in the same way, they are just on that separate part of the screen.

Your Deck won't be there for you to use until you activate it. To do this, click on the Activate button. Remember to name the Deck appropriately and save it if you have made any changes.

As an example, everyone starts off with the basic Starter Deck. This contains three of a few different Monsters:

Dark Prisoner
Doron
Holograph
Robolady

While a good introduction to the game, you will want to acquire more Decks and build your own as soon as possible.
