P14C: Turning in the Cores

When you arrive in Oerba AF200 check the map and head for the Chocolina, and rent a Chocobo.  Ride up onto the avenue above and, using the Choco jump on to the roof that the Chocolina is standing beside, then dismount and use Mooglehunt to reveal Graviton Core Gamma and 500 CP!  That is the final Core that we need, so hit the Historica Crux and select the Gate for Academia AF4XX.

When you arrive head for the Academy HQ and find Alyssa inside -- talk to her and begin handing over the Cores to her -- after you give the third Core you get a CS in which Hope tells you about the new weapon he is building and mentions that he needs a Chaos Crystal -- and what do you know?!  We have one of those!

Turning in the Graviton Cores

Continue handing in the Cores, and after two more you get another CS in which Hope is surprised you have collected all of the Core Fragments.  You get the summary and the news that they repaired the broken Gate in town.  Serah then receives the Vagabond Artifact.

With the Gate now restored to working condition -- and the Artifact we need in hand, it is time to head towards the marker on the map and the now repaired Gate and enter it!

WARNING: When you proceed to the next location you will be temporarily cut off from some of the rest of the Historica Crux...  Be sure you have done EVERYTHING you need to do BEFORE you hit this zone!
