Question for Need for Speed Underground

How do you get past the 112th race? I try and try but I can't beat it? If someone finds an answer put it up.

Melissa's car is kind of like Samantha's or TJ's. If she gets slowed down enough she can't catch up. Make her crash. You should also take the shortcut through the gate, but the other shortcuts will slow you down and you'll lose time. Keep going and try not to hit traffic, but help Melissa hit it if you can.
