how do i get out of the mirror room after i receive the fire metal because the door still has the harmful webbing keeping luigi trapped in the mirror room

Light the candles with your new ability and you should be able to get out
If lighting the candles doesnt work hit the x button and hit a on the mirror
Okay I'm having the same freakin' problem......I got the fire emblem but it hasnt given me the new ability to shoot fire after sucking up the fire ghosts and then pressing "L" even though the fire gauge is full.....I know muh "L" button works cause I just checked it with Ocarina of Time and a few other VC games.....please help!!!!
P.s. Im playing this on my wii
You have to press the L button on the 3ds in order to LIT the candle
