If you need lots of simoleons quick and if you've unlocked Sim Quarter fill your pockets and go buy a pet (make sure you have your least favorite object is in front), then you will have lots of simoleons.
P.S. You can only do this every now and then or else you will just be losing all you objects for no reason.

If you want 10000 simoleons for free, collect 3 beads and go to the Xizzle Club to make a 'sellout' xizzle bead. There you should get 10000 simoleons.

If you don't know where to get the beads I'll tell you:

1. Get relationship with Crystal to 100.
2. Find it on the left,back wheel of the bus near that garage place.
3. Get relationship with Darius to 100.(thats where I think you get it)

Once you are able to get into Club Xizzle, and have three beads, make sure you get the xizzle for 20% more money in all mini-games. It will help you get a good salary to get alot of promotions when the time comes.

Off Internet Shopping, buy a green metrorite. With the meteorite still in your pocket, go to the phone booth in Sim Quarter and use it. The moon base will then be unlocked.

If you want your sim to live in a place that is less expensive or just different, do these few things:
1.To live in the cave near Salty's Riverboat in Sim Quarter, get a 100% relationship with Ewan Watahmee
2. To live in the school bus across from the thrift shop, get a 100% relationship with Giuseppi Mezzoalto
3. To live in the garbage can near Club Xixxle in Glasstown, get a 100% relationship with Phoebe Twiddle
4. To live in the hole behind the poster in jail, get a 100% relationship with Det. Dan D. Man.

Whenever you call a repairman or a maid before they start fixing or cleaning anything get in their way and they'll disappear and take your money and the job will be done without you having to wait for them.

Just as a precaution:
Don't go to the carnival with full pockets if you're planning on buying a pet. If you do buy a pet or possibly something else (I've only tried it on a pet), then the first item in your pockets will be stolen. In my case, I had my gravboard in the first slot.

Richies-In Glasstown go to the 2nd floor by the utilities.Then check the water tanks
and it should be there.
Nerdies-Go to the circus but don't go in continue straight until you see a tree so check there.
Streeties-go to the farthest part of the graveyard and check the statue of Daddy B.
Artsies-I'm not sure where it's at but I'll submit it when I find out.

After you complete the game you may think that you can't talk to Daddy Bigbucks any more and so cannot complete the nerdies goals (if you haven't already) well you can!
