Question for Pokemon Ruby

With the pokedex do you have to catch all the Pokemon or just see them.
Oh no, I've just relised, I was just looking threw the pokedex, and rememberd where I saw the feebas, first time I fished, and I didnt think out of it, stupid me, I didnt even know what it was then

Duh, I meant to say above, "to fill the data try to CATCH them!" Hehehe, tired...

You just have to see them to complete it. But to fill the data, try to see them.

Bets are that you won't see the feebas in the same spot again!

You just have to see them. If you see all 150 Sinnoh Pokemon, you get the national dex and access to Pal Park.

Sorry about that, I was thinking of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. You need to catch them all because Professor Birch counts he Pokem0n you own and you get rewarded by his aids if you own a certain amount. Example: You get Exp. Share by owning a certain amount of Pokemon.
