Question for Pokemon Ruby

I have two more questions. The first one is what is a gold sandshrew and how can you catch it. The second one is why can't you use lengendry Pokemon in battle tower

A gold shanshrew is a shiny Pokemon that isn't easily found. You have a 1/100 chance of finding it. If you want it, just keep searching in the places you can find sandshrew.
Can't use legendary Pokemon in the battle tower because that is how the Game Programers put it. ( maybe because it would a cheap way to win).

1) That would be known as a shiny pokemon. Every time you fight a Pokemon, it has a 1/8192 chance of being a different color. This is what many people call a "Shiny Pokemon" due to the ring of sparkles that fly around it when it's sent out of the pokeball or it appears in the wild. If you ever see a shiny Pokemon catch it, no matter what it is. There's a slim chance you'll ever find another one, so catch every single one you ever see.

2) Because they're too powerful I guess... I dunno you'll have to ask Nintendo that question.

You can't get a gold sandshrew. Sorry. I really don't know why but maybe because they are too good. I don't know. Just a wild guess.
