Pokemon Ruby Questions

Hey everyone how's it going? just to introduce myself first I'm a pokemon freak and I finished playing all pokemon games, I also got every pokemon on Crystal, Gold and silver version (except for Celebi) and i recently started pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. I finished the whole game but i have a few questions.

<BR>First question: Where can you find Wailord? i know you can check it on pokedex but the thing is it's so hard for me to find him cuz i try finding him for ages. Do you need to do a certain thing to make him appear etc?

<BR>Second question: I know you need Wailord and Relicanth to unlock da chamber thingy to get to the Regi's. The thing is are all the 3 regi's in that place or is one of them in that place. If it is, where are the other 2 places where you can find them. If not, then can someone tell me 'exactly' what you do when you're inside the chamber.

<BR>third question: how many trainers do you have to beat in order to unlock the door in the old man's house in Mosdeep city? and i know you need something like an e-reader, where can you get it? is it a cable or something that you have to buy in 'real life' or is it something in the game? and also is there an mystery event just like gold, silver and crystal version? if there is what do you do to unlock it?

<BR>fourth question: you know there is an art museum in Lilycove city right? well how do you get all the paintings up there? i got one but not all of them and i don't know how to get the rest up there.

<BR>fifth question: how do you get a gold trainer card? plz tell me what you need to do.

<BR>Last question: I know that it only depends on your luck where you find all the shiny pokemon, the thing is does anybody know where you can find one? like does anybody have a shiny pokemon, if any of you do, can you plz tell me where you found yours? i found a green coloured wingull near Route 108-109 so you people out there might want to give it a try.

<BR>PS: if anybody know anymore secrets or tips that are important in the game can you plz tell me cuz I might missed out some questions.......just tell me a good tip if i missed out e.g a secret item or a rare pokemon whatsoever. Thx everyone!

2. The regis are in three different places. To unlock the regis, for one touch the braille, then you have to go right, right, down, down and use strength, for another you just leave the gameboy alone for a few minutes, and for the last one, go to the middle of the chamber and use fly. Regirock is in the desert, regiice is in the water between dewford and petalburg, and Regi steel is between lilycove and fortree.

5. Beat the elite four, fill up all the paintings, catch at least 200 pokemon, and win 100 battles at battle tower.

For wailord, just catch a wailmer, and train it to level 40. You can catch wailmer by usind super rod, at almost any ocean in the game.

As for question #2, i just answered the same kind of Question in the question above yours. It says where to get the regi's, and what to do to get into them. Sorry if it's not exactly clear.

#3- ok, this is kindof complicated, so listen up (or maybe I should say "read up"). To be able to get the mystery event, go to the Pokecentre in Pettleburg. Talk to the guy next to the PC. Change your profile to MYSTERY EVENT IS EXITING. then, just go to any vidio game store and buy an ereader. they usually have them at target stores. you have to have the battle-e-card you got with the game. connect the gameboy with the game with a gameboy that has the ereader in it. On the main menue screen for pokemon ruby/sapphire, there will be a new option called "mystery event" click on it. then swipe the card in the ereader and press the Aboten on both games at the same time. This opens the dore in the old guys house. all it is is a trainer that doesnt count on you trainers eyes card.

4th question- To fill the spaces in the museum, you have to bea the master rank pokemon contests. for the 1st painting, you just have to win once. For the 2nd and 3rd, you have to win two times. I'm not sure how many times you have to win for the 4th and 5th, cuase I only have 3.

question #5- to get a gold trainer card, you have to beet eliet four, fill pokedex, fill art museom and something else I forgot.

Last one. Well, I don't have one, but my ffriend got a green tentecule under the cyceling path in the water. But you really got to understand, you can find a shiny pokemon in any rout, they're just really rare.

1: Wailord can be found in the wild while surfing on route 129, but is exceedingly rare. An easier way to get one is evolving a wailmer at level 40.

2: When you enter the Sealed Chamber, first use dig to open the second half of the chamber. In the second half of the chamber, read the braille at the northernmost end of the chamber with a relicanth in the front of your lineup and a wailord and the rear. As you read the inscription, a tremor will shoot through the chamber, followed by three clicks and a message telling about the opening of a door.
The three newly opened quarters of regice, regirock, and registeel are on Routes 105, 111 (desert), and 120. In the Island Cave, read the inscription and wait untill the door opens itself. To open the door inside the Desert Ruins, head due north from the door as far as possible, then take two paces east followed by two paces south and use strength. Entry into the second chamber of the Ancient Tomb is achieved by using fly in its center.
3: The amount of trainers you need to defeat to open this door is only as many as you must defeat to reach Mossdeep City, and e-readers can be bought at game stores in real life. Sadly, there is no Mystery Gift feature in these games.
4: You have to win each Master Rank Contest Category by a certain amount of which I am not entirely sure.
5: You need to defeat the Elite Four, complete your pokedex, and fulfill some other requirements I can't recollect.
6: Shiny pokemon can be found anywhere you encounter pokemon. Since you asked, I have a gray manectric I caught on Route 113 as a blue electrike and a gold roselia captured on route 117. However, remember that where anyone else found shinys has no correlation to where they will appear for you.

I have a multitude of tips I want to post on the User Submitted Hints Page (though I haven't found any manner to do so as of yet). Here are a few of them.
If you need to make a large amount of money but haven't reached the Elite Four, an easy way to do so is to battle Rich Boy Winston/Lady Cindy with a pokemon who knows thief/covet. During each battle, use thief/covet as a starting move and you will obtain a nugget. Continue the match untill you win or are defeated; if you win you get a nugget plus a good sum of money, and if you lose you still have the stolen nugget. After the battle, remove the nugget and run/bike over to the other and see if they desire a rematch. If they don't, head over to the other and see if they would like a rematch. Continue this for even half an hour and you should soon have a large amount of nuggets and, if you won all the matches, a very large monetary gain. Note: if you want to increase your savings still further, switch to a pokemon holding an amulet coin after stealing the nugget. This method is also useful if you don't wish to battle the Elite Four for money.
There are a multitude of items which you can steal from wild and domestic pokemon. Some types of these are monetary items (such as big pearls), berrys (such as sitrus berrys), healing items (such as white herbs), evolution items (such as sun stones, blue shards and dragon scales), and powerup items (such as twistedspoons and black belts).
An easy way to do well in contests is to raise the contest stats of a compatible pair of pokemon to their maximum, then breed them untill you have two children of opposite genders. Maximize their contest stats and breed them, and repeat the process however many times you deem necessary. Each new generation will have slightly higher base contest stats than the one preceeding it, so you will have greater chances of winning a contest with each new generation. This method also works to increase stats such as speed and special attack.
