Question for Pokemon Ruby

I have two questions

1.how do I get latios , do I just walk around and he appears?Or I do I need to go to the south islands?

2.if I do need to get there , how do i?

1. Yeah, you just walk around and he appears. Or you can check your Pokedex and see his area. Go to there. If his area changes, go to the new area. Keep doing this until the both of you are in the same area. Keep going around in the long grass and he will eventually appear.

2. You need to get to Southern Island to get Latias. You can get there by using cheat codes but I think Southern Island is only available on Pokemon Emerald. You should try it anyway.

No all you need to do is just walk around because thats how I found the latias(my bad if I spelt it wrong)in sapphire but hopefully you can find it the same way

and i really dont know how to get there thats why i was glad i didnt have too

Just keep walking around, you'll find him eventually.

Walk arounf until he shows up, then you will have to catch him.

Know that place near the battle tower(its in water) I was lloking for a wailord for the regi's. Any way I used a bunch of max repels and eventually I found him.
