Is the fact that I have beaten the elite 4 like 15 times, and not seen a single advertisement for the clear out sales, and the berry glitch have anything to do with each other.

The fact that I have caught PokeRus, beaten the elite four five times, and I haven't seen a clear out sale proves SOMETHING. I don't know what. But if you can't get a clear out sale, It is proboably because your game is glitched up. You could use a Gameshark code, but I don't know it. I feel your pain! I really want a breakable door for my secret base, but I can't get it because I can't get a clear out sale to happen!
From what I know, the berry glitch is only gotton when you have played one game for over a year. Note that beating the Elite Four a second time (or third, fourth, etcetera) has no major impact on what can happen in the game, and that Lilycove Department Store liquidation sales are fairly rare unless you look at every tv in Hoenn every day.
The berry glitch has nothing to do with this.Your battery has either dryed out and therefore makes you have no time in your game.
Either that or your just running on bad luck,happened to me! A clearout sale hasn't happened in my game in months!
No, its completely fine, sale's only come once in a while and you usually have to have an interview for an advert on the t.v. .
