Ok heres the deal when I first saw latios he ran away from me which is good because now I can track him down.Then I let my friend borrow the game and he trained me golbat to a higher level so now since his speed is highe I can use mean look.I did and I got his hp down to red.That is when I start to come in wit the ultra balls.But he keeps popping out.I was close once I almost caught it.The pokeball rolled three times but then it popped out.so I have two questions
 
 1) is there an easier way to catch latios because his attacks are super effective on my golbat
 
 2)should I keep using ultra balls or get a maste ball?

Well I caught it with a bloody pokeball that took me like 1 hour! Well paralyze him first then start throwing ultra balls and timer balls, timer works best after you threw like 50 ultraballs at him since timer balls catch rate goes up every turn.

You should either paralyze latios or put him to sleep, that way it'll be easier to catch him

1) I didn't use a Golbat to catch Latios on my Ruby. Instead, I used Wobbuffet.

2) Keep using Ultraballs. Save the Masterball for when you REALLY need it.

1.Try to paralize it, and get it down to at least 1 HP.

2.Use Utra Balls on it, a Master Ball is not worth it.
