How good is Sableye, battle and contest wise?

Well if your going to use him in your team, it's ok, bu this stats are not that good though.
If your going to use him in a Pokemon contest, that I don't know.

Sableye is a pritty neat Pokemon scince he can learn almost anything. You can teach it flamethrower I think shadow ball's great with sableye. He's a great damage giver and tends to be smart.

Sableye is nessasary for keeping latios and latias from running away. It can learn moves that prevent the opponent's escape!

If you give it enough RED pokeblocks, it's COOL stats will rise. Put it in a COOL contest, and use cool moves, and it will usually win. This worked with my sableye!

Never had sableye personally, but it's the only Pokemon in the game with out a weakness, if thats hints anything

Sableye is not to bad,but I would not use him.

Sableye is a unique pokemon. I've never used it but I know it has no weakness. He is a dark/ghost pokemon which makes others have no super affective moves against it. I think it would be wonderful since it can also learn almost any TM.

Sableye is a Dark/Ghost Pokemon, it has no weakness whatsoever (except when forsight is activated, then it's weak to normal and fighting moves) because of this, it has low stats but works best with physical moves (but the game didnt show what is physical or special moves then) plus this guy only appeared on SAPHIRE!!! So you will have to trade from saphire. (I can't spell lol *does barrel roll*)

I have a sableye and it's easily my favorite Pokemon in sapphire not only because of it's unique lack of weakness, but most other Pokemon attacks including psychic, don't even affect my sableye. Plus I learns night shade which is an excellent move because you always know how much damage it will do. Along with the fact that it can learn nearly anything.
