I was just wondering if any one knows a method so that I can start off with all three starting pokemon?
Cheers for your time!

You'll pick one of them! Then get the others from trading with your friends. Or use a cheat device.
Yeah, get two games(ruby and sapphire maybe, get the starter and trade it.Erase the game and keep doing this.
People somtimes tell you that you need three Pokemon ruby but you can use two if you can't find a third one. Just start two of them get different starters and catch extra Pokemon that you don't need an then trade it for the other starter. Then do the same thing again but only with one of the ruby's then trade to the one you did not start over now you have all three starters.

1. Pick one, then trade off with your friends or use your own game and GBA.
2. Cheat.
I think not cheating would be better though.
The only way to get all three starting Pokemon would be either by trading with a friend or using a cheat device like Gameshark or Action replay.
By trading them from other games or GameShark or Action Replay.
The only way I know is trading but I think either a gameshark or actoin replay will work.
