In Mossdeep City there is a building south of the mart with a old man inside. In the building there is a door that is locked. How do you unlock the door?

Connect your game to another GBA with the E-Reader inserted. Restart the game and enter Mystery Events mode. Swipe the Battle Card that you got with your game through the E-Reader, then return to your game and enter the house; the man will stand in front of the door and ask if you want to battle the trainer (who is on the Battle Card) behind the door. You will never go into the door yourself.

You need to have a E-reader, and use the Mystery Event to unlock the door.
