Question for Pokemon Ruby

I can't seem to get the Trendy saying to change. I tell the kid a different saying, but he says "No I think INCREDIBLE NOSEPASS is much better". It will not change. Is there some way to get it to change?? Mixing records?? A different guy?? ANYTHING BUT INCREDIBLE NOSEPASS?!?!

After a while, he makes up his own saying and sticks with it no matter what.
