All of the codes work except for the Pokemon for the Ruby version only. All Pokemon from gen 1 and 2 work but nothing from the actual game will work. It just freezes

They are likely just bad codes, when Pokemon Ruby came out people was using a program called PokeSav, that program is expired. Now people use PokeGen, but doesn't support Pokemon Ruby. If someone still had PokeSav, they could make new codes that would likely work. I've had a lot of issues with cheat devices just freezing the game.
