Question for Pokemon Ruby

I'm trying to evolve a golbat.I am being very nice to it. I'm giving it pokeblocks,the ones it likes(pink), I'm giving it protiens,zincs,ect,and I'm battling with it.

The girl in Slateport keeps saying you have to go for it a little harder, and I don't know what she means, can anyone suggest what I should do to make golbat evovle?

Hey wassup!
Well in the ruby version it is harder to have freindship than in Crystal cause in that game you have more options. Here is what you do. When you first catch zubat or Goldbat make sure IT IS ALWAYS IN FRONT ALWAYS UNTIL IT EVOLVES INTO CROBAT. Make sure that you let it battle only trainers alot of them. Never let zubat faint. Keep doing that and feed it zinc and etc. It will take a while so be patient. Mine didn't evolve until lv41.

I don't know how to evolve Golbat I am having trouble with that myself, but that girl your talking to she keeps saying go for it a little bit harder until you get your Golbat to Lvl. 75.
I think it's Lvl. 75 because when my Groudon reached it she gave me a ribbon.

The girl in slateport that says"Go for it a little harder"she means get a ribbon from the first contest the easy one and make sure the Pokemon she is talking about gets the ribbon from the contest.then go back talk to her she will give you an extra ribbon for going for it.

Just make it full HP and use a potion on it even though it says "it will have no effect", just do this about 20 times or as many as it takes to evolve it.
