Question for Pokemon Ruby

Okay so I finally found my GameBoy with Pokemon Ruby in it after years of not knowing where it went and I decided to play it. After turning it on and getting almost to the main screen a message comes up that says this: "The internal battery has run dry. The game can be played. However, clock-based events will no longer occur." Just like it says I can play normally, nothing seems to be out of the normal. What clock-based events is it talking about?

There are a few Clock-Based Events:

1. You cannot evolve Eevee into both Espeon and Umbreon, you will only be able to evolve it into one of them.

2. The Tide in Shoal Cave will always be high or low.

3. Berrie growth will stop.

4. Feebas spots will always remain the same.

A few other little things are affected too. However, nothing will prevent you from playing and finishing the game.

Hope this helps!
