From time to time, the water level in Shoal Cave will fluctuate in tides. During low tide, the Shoal Cave will be devoid of water, so this is the time to start looking for some Shoal Salts and Snorunts. Maneuver through the dry parts of the cave until you get to the ninja and the moveable boulder. (The Ninja will give you Focus Band.) When you push your way past the boulder, you will enter a room characteristic of the Ice Path in the previous versions. Start looking there. (You can get TM16 (Hail) and Nevermeltice.)

In oder to find Snorunt you must go to the back of the cave and search in the room with the ice and solve the sliding puzzle and go on the top ledge and search for a while and pretty soon you should find him and also be patient because it took me a while to find him. So good luck!
