gameshark or action replay?

alright, so ive been looking around here for cheats without using cheats(if that makes sence) in my pokemmon ruby. alot of people said that they can use cheats with (since its a gba game) a gameshark wich im willing to buy, but alot of people also said u could use the action replay? i do have 1, but realy for the life of me dont know how i could use cheats from a nintndo ds cheater, to a gameboy. (i obiously play ruby on my ds) so could anybody tell me how to use the action replay, and if its beter then the gameshark or not??

I prefer AR over Gameshark cause it's easier to enter codes in. People are always complaining about entering codes into Gameshark. Use the included software and install it on your computer and read the instruction manual to learn how to use it.
