I have ruby and sapphire. I link my ruby GBA to my sapphire GBA [ I have two GBA] On my sapphire it says "ready press A" I press then it says connection error. The link cable is in the slot tight. What do I do?

Make sure the cable works and make sure you have beaten both games.
