So I went to Fortree City but I never got the badge because I decided to go south in order to train all my Pokemon for it. However, I jumped over this ledge where I don't know how to get back and I find myself in Lilycove City. What do I do and how can I get back to get my badge?

There is a ledge on Route 120 from which you can jump to the right. This ledge is just I little bit north-east of the small pond. When you get there you'll notice after the jump you can go north, and thus, you're able to return to Fortree City.
