Cheat Codes are entered through Action Replay and Gameshark. They can be bought at GameStop, Wal-MArt, Target, and Codejunkies.com
In order to use Pokemon Ruby cheat codes. You will need a Game Shark or Action Replay. This is required to enter the numerical numbers and alphabet mixed in. These are very helpful and you can get them just about anywhere. EBay, Wal-Mart and just about any other place that sells electronic gaming stuff. Some places might not have them in stock, but I am sure they can order it for you.
If you want you can download an emulator that comes with a gameshark. I use visualboyadvanced.
