Pikachu, Latios and DIG

1. What can I do to catch Pikachu before he runs away.

2. How do I catch up to Latios.....he is always on the move and I can't catch him

3. How do I get TM DIG or Diglet...dont say trade because I can't trade with anyone

4. People said something about getting Latias in Emerald by choosing it... where and when do you get to choose Latias?

Comment:(Aug 24 2008) I forgot to add that i already got the TM DIG from the guy but i dont know what i did with it and i need another...

I have not come across a Pikachu in my game yet, so I don't know what to do for that. Latios will just appear so always be ready to take him on, and to get Dig go to the house where some lad is digging a tunnel, talk to his son and he will give it to you, I think the house is out side the town where the super contest is. I'm not Sure what the name of the town is. Latias can be found in Sapphire and Emerald only, and I don't know about choosing it, they both appeared to me in Emerald. Hope this helps....

Some of your questions are already answered, so ill answer the pikachu one. In the safari zone, I catch my pikachu by,
1. Go closer
2. Pokeblock
3. Catch him!
Going closer will increase your chances of catching him, and throwing a pokeblock will distract him, so if you do it this way, your probably going to get him. Hope this helps!

1.To catch Pikachu esier throw a safari ball straight away and press A and B very fast and sometimes you can hold A and press B but the first one works better
2.Every time you change route latios changes route as well and when you enter a building Latios transports some where else and Latios can only be found in the west region of Hoen but when you find him make sure you catch him if you don't have a masterball use a golbat that knows mean look so that it can't escape
And throw ultraballs and timerballs.
3.sorry you can't get it again unless you train a trapinch.
