battle tower
How come the Pokemon that you see in battle tower aren't recorded on your pokedex?also while I was surfing a tentacool appeared but before it started to battle some light went into it and it turned silver what does it mean?thanks for whoever helps.

That is just the way the battle tower is. For your second question...
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
You just found a shiny pokemon. This very rare and can only be done if you train you're Pokemon enough in that area. ;)

The Battle Tower offers special rewards. It supplies one of the four special tasks needed to obtain a gold Trainer card.
1. Become League Champion
2. Complete your Pok�dex
3. Beat 50 trainers in the Battle Tower
4. Win one Ribbon in all five of the Master Rank Contests
Each trainer defeated gives you a prize:
1st-5th trainers:
HP UP
Protein
Iron
Carbos
Calcium
Zinc
6th+
Bright Powder
White Herb
Quick Claw
Mental Herb
Choice Band
King's Rock
Focus Band
Scope Lens
Leftovers
If you defeat 50 consecutive trainers, you'll get an Award Ribbon (for the Pok�mon on your special team) and a Silver Shield (for your Secret Base).
If defeat 100 consecutive trainers, you'll get a Gold Shield (for the Base).
Your Battle Tower records appear on the back of your Trainer Card.

The Battle tower is a special place, it's just like that. That Tentacool was a shiny Pokemon, those are really rare. If you ever find a shiny Pokemon, catch it!!!
