Question for Pokemon Ruby

How can I get to mirrage island???? I tried it but it wont work. Can anybody help me??? Please

Well, you have to show the guy a Pokemon with a special number on it and he will say it has appeared and surf right from there

Each Pokemon has a certain code to it and mirage island code changes every day.
If you were to bring a Pokemon to the old man and the code matches mirage island, you could get there.
It's a really low chance of it happening so just keep catching any Pokemon (multiple of the same one) and show them all to him.

You can use gameshark codes to get there. Like 61260541 1EB19C53. This will make it appear.
