Question for Pokemon Ruby

Hi guys, I just got an AR and this is what I want to know:

1. If my game gets glitched, how do I fix it?

2. There is already a master code on my AR and some of the sites I went to say something like:

(master code)
7735RE93
163779DY

Then the code for the Pokemon or something else. Do I type in the mMaster code or because there is already one on there I dont need to?
