E-readers are only available on eBay for now as they used to be sold a few years back at places that carry gba's. E-readers are used to read the strange black code like thing at the bottom of certain cards. They are also used in Ruby for one thing, this mystery thing found on a few Pokemon cards but not with game stuff but a mystery to sovle that is long over. It is also used to get to southern island with eon ticket and to get latias which nowadays is only obtainable with a special gameshark code. It is lastly used to change the enigma berry to several other kinds of berries that do neat things. The enigma berry is obtainable with gameshark but not the berries that the E-reader/card makes.
