If you defeat Mewtwo he never comes back. You only have 1 chance to catch him like you do with zapdos, articuno, and moltres

No, after you battle mewtwo, he will not return. If you lose to him he leaves, if you flee he leaves, and if you beat him he leaves. This is your only chance to get him, so save your masterball for this!

Why would you say such things? It's a lie! Have you even cheked your facts? Jesus, why don't people just save before fighting legendaries and turn their system off and on... But mewtwo can be fought again, if he faints, battle the elite four again and mewtwo will respawn. When you catch him, he won't re appear ofcourse.

yeah no beating elite 4 does not cause him to reappear, confirmed. I just tried it and no mewtwo. so if you beat him, he is gone so save before fighting.

Mewtwo will never come back if you make it faint...It's better if you catch it but Mewtwo is sure a bad Pokemon at lv 70 and hard to catch.

If you make mewtwo faint if you saved finding him just power off without saving making him faint and right there mewtwo will have returned!

Defeat the Elite Four again. It works in Pokemon X - I just fainted Mewtwo and refought the Four, and went back and caught Mewtwo. It is true!
