I need help I got the nanaiol pokedex and have a 117 Pokemon and I still havent seen the legandary dog the water one plz help me pl

It is quite easy(havent seen one myself but I know how to see one)buy around ten max repels and take a lvl 50-60 Pokemon and walk in grass they have a better chance to show up if you are using max repels

I can't remember how or anything. But when I was looking for my legendary dog it showed me where it was.
It may have been on my town map, i'm not sure.
But I definately knew were to find it next.
Also, it runs away after one hit (I think), so I used my master ball.
Sorry if I haven't been clear.
