Pokerus is a VERY rare, yet beneficial "disease". It doubles the EXP. Points and EVs gained. If the Pokemon with Pokerus is in your party, then it will spread to the rest of your team. Unfortunately after a while it wears off. So, if you want to keep it forever, have a Pokemon with Pokerus stay in your PC.
